Warheads Gewra Troop

Here it begins and here's the telling of it.
Reality twists and space/time folds.
The folds touch and mystic wormholes open.
This world is but a leap from another for those who know the way.
Know this now - you're insubstantial, for all flesh,
All matter is but concentrated energy, and to energy you must return.
This is where the wormhole open.
Here you shall tread into the unknown.
Do you tremble? Will you falter?

NO! Say I -
For you are the WARHEADS: WARRIORS SUPREME!

Does Might make Right? Or is War but a dance?

Kurzick Luxon or Kurzick - which one will you join? Both sides need new recruits - they´d like to have YOU on their side.
But are you willing to follow those who believe in arts, instead of raw power?
Or would you want to live among people who think that power means everything?

Ekarus

Luxons believe that Might makes right, they take what they can by right of strength.

"We respect only strength!"
Luxon Peasant
Ulrikar

Their sworn enemies, the Kurzicks, on the other hand, believe that War is no more than a waltz, a dance started by their ancestors, and they have to continue it, in honor of Balthazar.

"Perfection of skill, of creation, is the way to honor ones ancestors, the saints of old."
Kurzick Peasant

Both sides are fanatics, almost blind to reason, there is no doubt about that. Yet they both developed a philosophy to justify the war, to augment the ever-accepted argument "it´s tradition"...

"If the Kurzicks didn't want us taking their amber they would become stronger."
Luxon Peasant
Luxons clearly believe in strength - they travel the jade sea and mine raw jade, they take what they can get by their "right" of strength.
This attitude probably evolved through the hard life on "sea", solid as it may be, it yet houses numerous hazards.
They´ve split into separate groups, yet have retained a sense for the necessity of central government - they created a council of Elders, who can overrule decisions made by individual groups, and is called upon to settle disputes, to create new laws or modify existing ones, if necessary.

"We take what we can by right of strength."

"The Great War is the waltz of Balthazar.
Our ancestors created it so we continue the dance they began."
Kurzick Peasant
Kurzicks are weak in the eyes of the Luxons. They do not measure themselves by strength alone, they are creative, writing music and poetry, believe in the gods and see signs of them in all creation.
Kurzick child
"Many of the younger generation want to create works to eclipse those of our ancestors."
Kurzick Child
Their young try to outperform their parents - but not with mere strength - they want to create even better music, better art, yet they also are willing to fight their hereditary enemies - the Luxons.
Unlike their enemies, the Kurzicks do not only believe in strength - quite the opposite.
Battle is a necessity, a way of life, but it is not all there is.
"Battle is the most magnificent of all the true gods' creations."
Kurzick Peasant
Where the Luxons have their council of Elders, the Kurzicks have a council of Nobles, who, before taking action, consult their spiritual superiors - the Redemtors.

Both sides have now come to Tyria, and brought their war with them.
Each side is blind to the terror they create, seeing only the complete annihilation of the other side as a possible goal.

Now YOU have to take sides. Wether you like it or not, you can only aid one side. No doubt, no matter how you decide - the repercussions will soon be revealed, when the sea route to Cantha is opened once more, when you will finally have to pledge alliance to either Kurzick or Luxon.

Does Might make Right? Or is War but a dance? YOU decide... Luxon

"There is one last dark song all men must hear."
Kurzick Peasant
